Sniglet's House started as a school project for a typography class to make a type specimen for an existing typeface in any format that we chose. Sniglet was my font choice, and the playful shapes of the letterforms inspired me to make illustrations out of the letters themselves. I created an alphabet book called Sniglet's ABCs. All the illustrations are created with characters from the typeface, each page featuring its own letter disguised in the illustration. Later I extended Sniglet's ABCs into Sniglet's House, a full-fledged brand concept including additional books, apparel, housewares, and a web game.
